Learning disability

Who do we help?

We offer services especially for people with learning disabilities. When we talk about ‘learning disabilities’ we mean people who find it difficult to learn something new, to understand complicated information or to do things by themselves. These difficulties have usually been with them all their lives and affected their development.

What services do we offer?

We offer two sorts of services for people with learning disabilities:

  • Floating support services – support available wherever you live, often enabling you to live as independently as possible in your own home; and
  • Support along with a place to live.

Our services can help you find and keep somewhere to live or maintain the skills you need to live on your own.

We aim to offer a service based on your particular needs, where you’re in control and take part in decisions. We’ll give you help and advice on activities to do with housing, skills you need to live independently, or with specific issues related to learning difficulties. Our goal is to help you fix any problems and achieve results.

We will support you to complete your own Personal Development Plans based on how you feel and what areas you would like support with.
